Day 2 - 8/5

Another day of eating good. Also managed to work out for a full hour, a half hour of wii and then a half hour of elliptical. We've been adding a lot vegetables and fruit to our meals.

The key for keeping full and eating a good meal is calculating the calories, fat, etc. Then figuring out whether or not you can have more or not. Yesterday instead of dressing on my salad I substituted cheese. It's a matter of deciding what you really want and not.

The biggest obstacle of the last two days is that I'm starting to crave all the foods I really shouldn't have. Arby's, Little Ceasars, Taco Bell. It's hard but perhaps I will indulge just a little this weekend. Just a little being the key word.

Still no treatment effects from the Alli, thanks to my anal adding and calculating. Hey better then shitting on yourself.

Day 1 - 8/4

First day went pretty well. Was totally anal about what I was eating. Wrote it all down and added up the calories, fat, etc. Worked out for only 30 minutes because, as usual, school got in the way.

Made some really delicious red skin roasted potatoes that I am definitely going to make again. Olive oil is the nastiest stuff so much fat and calories in it!

Zero treatment effects, I'm VERY happy to say. Really did not want to experience those so I'm glad that my persistence is paying off.

Almost Time

Starting to get nervous about the Alli. I really really don't want to get the so called "treatment effects". It's going to be a lot of work adding up all the calories and fat and everything in my food.

They have pre-determined meal plans but a lot of them contain shit I will not eat. Like Turkey, blech! Plus Bub has to eat too and he's kinda picky. Not to mention that being totally poor will cut into what I'll be able to make and what I won't.

This damn diet is going to make me obsess over my food, which I hate. I will have to measure and plan and worry over it all the time. Blech!
